Olympics – Orphanage style

At least, that is what I think is happening. Yesterday when we were visiting Anya, Tatiana (the social worker) was trying to tell me something. Al I really got was that something was happening tomorrow, and that we should be there by 2pm. Since I wasn’t understanding her, she got on the phone and then handed it to me. She called her sister who speaks English.

The way I understand it is that the kids are having a sports day today. The games will start at 3pm, and we will find it very interesting. I thought “interesting” was an odd word to use, because it was used over and over and over. Tatiana said “ochen interestina” (very interesting).
