What is Russia like?

I've run into a lot of friends who are asking me what Russia is like - aside from my editorial comments. I thought the best way to tell that story is with some photos.


This is a photo of the Novatel in Moscow. Probably one of the nicest in the city.





This is a photo of a typical neighborhood. Most people live in apartments - but the neighborhoods are surrounded by ancient homes like these. Most don't have running water or electricity...which is completely unimaginable considering this is in Siberia!
