winter trees

IN the mornings in Irkutsk - the trees are so beautiful. Everything seems to be covered with a fresh coat of snow - leaving the city looking clean and new. The streets are quiet (unless, of course, it is around the first of January!) and peaceful.

The trees are what hit me every morning. Every branch was highlighted with a thin layer of snow - perfect subject for a Ansel Adams.
