Outcome of the Hilt case

For those of you who are interested, the Hilt case sentencing was announced a few hours ago. Below is a link to the news story I could find.

The last woman to kill her Russian adopted child only got 12 years, so this is a much stiffer sentence in comparison. It was reported on the website for the local Manassas tv station that Peggy was sentenced to 35 years and the Judge made it mandatory that she will serve 25 of that time. So obviously everyone’s letters did make an impact - YEAH! The max sentence was 40 years.

It will be interesting to see what the Russian media makes of this.
