Well, we're off. Currently we're at the tail end of our 6 hour layover in New York...we were here about 4 hours before we realized that the airport gate area is a WiFi hot zone (in other words, we can get online). Our flight to Moscow leaves in about an hour and 1/2...and we're both very glad. Since we only were able to sleep about 3 hours last night - it'll be nice to nap.
The only catastrophe so far has been with my hairspray. Yes, it happened...somehow the squirter was squirting all over the inside of my carry on, and now my laptop smells like Aveda Firmata hairspray.
I'll post a note as soon as we're able to get settled in at the apartment in Irkutsk (probably not until Sunday).
